I’m in the misery of the North East.

 

It wouldn’t surprise me if they just didn’t merge them after acquisitions, but they could cover different areas for City operations. In my area, I work at an EOL terminal that covers half the city, while a nearby hub covers the other half. Over a third of our road bids just run to that nearby hub (not as close together as those Memphis terminals, but still a pretty short drive). In theory they could easily close us and move everything to the hub, and I’m not sure why they haven’t done that (aside from having a ridiculous amount of drivers dispatched from one building).
