Pay extra for stainless steel flex pipe

Take this from me!! USE OEM style exhaust parts It makes the job simple. Off the shelf generic parts will make installation a nightmare The pipe that runs atop the frame has notches where the support brackets fit. This aligns that pipe in the proper position for the elbow that goes up to the muffler. That elbow is the most expensive part of the system. (about 300$ depending on dealer) This elbow has an indentation so the cab will not hit it if the cab air bags leak down. That long pipe that runs along the frame has this funky angle at the rear. It will line right up with the 300$ oem elbow, which will line right up with the muffler. You will need:
18": SS flex (at turbo)
2: SS band clamps for use with flex
1: exhaust pipe w/angel OEM
2: support brackets ( you will probably ruin yours taking taking it off)
1: OEM 90* elbow with matching clamps
1: muffler 10x56 w/5" inlet and outlet
plus odds and ins for the muffler and the exhaust tip.

Do you mean that pipe that goes from muffler to the pipe under the truck. The one that looks like they took a 2x4 and bend it lol? That indentation can not be good for back pressure on these trucks..

Yes sir. That's the way they come. At on 2002-05 with 72" sleeper. With a regular elbow the sleeper will hit it on some hard bounces, tearing it from the muffler.

Yea for that reason im debating on running a weed burner exhaust.. Or find a pipe that moves it down more so it doesnt have to get that bend in it
