Yep, and they won't give me a new one without a letter because mine is too new they say. But, they will let me go recover one if I want to. I don't understand the logic behind that thinking.

 

Because they make money on the lease payments. All the payments between no letter and letter is free money because the person who got the letter is paying the exact same total for the truck as if he was the 1st owner..

 

So long as they continuously have a body making payments, they're happy

 

Are they going to rebuild the main building? I saw an architect truck there yesterday.

Is a 3500 series truck a different model or just different numbered truck?

 

But seriously, there are plans to do some major stuff at the yard, including amenities for drivers.

Just me griping that nearly brand new trucks are already on owner 2+

 

Theoretically, the higher the number, the newer the truck. Not always the case tho. There can be a few month's difference. Depends on how quickly they get a truck done. But for the most part, all the 2017s are the same age, just delivered several months apart
