Just being a trucker makes you a criminal to a lot of people.

Ok so...I have to say...Pilots new Enhanced WiFi is kind of worth it.

So far i've only hit one truck stop where it was iffy (Limon, CO) other than that its been pretty decent double digits on the bandwidth, 10+Mb/Sec. Last night in Knoxville it was actually closer to 70 Mb/Sec. Updated my Garmin with it in less than an hour. Paying the 99 for the year for service may take some pressure off my wireless plan (Stupid 22Gig soft cap).

Of course i'm on the 5Ghz network, if I drop to the 2.4Ghz where its crowded, its a bit slower and higher latency.

And I'm not really THAT close to the building each time.

I need to fill out some forms so I detour to pass through the yard. All of the doors now have key card locks. I don't have a key card.

I'm old school. I figure if it's that dangerous in there that you need high security clearance to get in then I really don't need or want to be in there. I guess they can fax me the goods and I'll spend the few dollars and fax them back.

Been that way for awhile. Just go in when someone goes out and get with your DM about a key card. The reason for them was because a while ago there was a bum that was living in the lounge of the main building at night.

Congrats on making JCT 6.6k to 9.3k off your fuel purchases!

    Enjoy that 4k....

*Fuels up for 2.09 instead of 2.35-.15*

Oh. It's the news letter. It has a section telling people about a driver that "made" 4k fueling at flying j and the 15 cent "rebate".
