So I got some 5 lb mounting tape from Kmart (closing store 50% off couldn't pass that up). One piece up top one piece on the bottom. Since the speaker is up against the backplate and reflecting directly at my head it's LOUD. I had to turn it down. Now that I know that it works just like that I'm going to fine tune it. I'm going to stick the old cubby that use to sit in the cb hole there. Then mount the gps against it. This will cause it to angle down, so it's not washed out at this lower angle.
How long did it take for them to decide to keep their own product? I've had that happen from Colton as well where the load increased intransit. It took the Walmart in Terrell Texas 4 hours to figure out if they were going to keep their own product. After the normal 3.5 hour unload time...
I was there at 0515 for a 0630 appt. I was out of there at 0915. So, 4 hours total time. This was the Walmart in Cleburne, Tx.
I had 4 pallets of lemons from Colton rejected yesterday. Clarksville Walmart, said they were 21% undersized. lol I think rejected stuff like this come back on Colton suppliers. In this case it was JCT...
I don't think it should come back on JCT at all. I'm not trained to know whether a lemon is under-sized for Walmart's quality assurance standards. At most I'm responsible to know if the cases are damaged and the temperature. That should be directly on Colton because they should have their own quality assurance before they pass the stuff on. The receiver at North Platte told me that Colton likes to pass on their screwed-up Freight because then they don't have to deal with it. Of course then Walmart doesn't have to deal with it because they just leave it on our trucks. There were several drivers in the receiving area at North Platte that heard when my load was rejected. They said they've had the same thing happen with Colton loads and there from other companies.
And Colton is drop and hook. When It Is Live load, You can be on dock, but who in their right mind is going stand on the dock for 8 hours while they load.
But even then if you stood on the dock and watch them load are you going to know that the lemons in the boxes are under sized? Even if you watched at original pickup would you know? Now my strawberry load whoever accepted the load on the original trailer should have noticed that when it was wrapped up top it crushed boxes. That's the only reason I can come up with Walmart refusing the load. And it should have been caught by the original pickup driver which wasn't JCT and it should have been caught by Colton. And since it was in the nose of the trailer I never saw it. But of course it still became my problem and cost me a preplan.
Im only guessing. But what I meant was wcc is just a quick warehouses where things come together and then move to the rest of the country. JCT is a big part of bringing product to the them as well as away from them. Anyway when I was on the phone with os&d the girl said great that's one of our loads. I think she meant Jct brought it to wcc before it got taken to Clarksville. But I'm really taking a leap. All I know for sure is it took 5 hours to get rid of those lemons and I lost my preplan. Lol
As far as the lemons go I'm sure the grower is responsible for boxing undersized product. I just think JCT is probably the party that has to deal with them
