I busted out laughing when he you don't want to get blinker fluid in your eyes because it will cause uncontrollable blinking.

And naturally, my load at Tyson in Olathe ain't ready. According to the clerk, the truck with my load on it got delayed. Was told to come back tomorrow morning.

Well the new laundry area is pretty sweet. Makes the whole truck wash/laundry day a much more enjoyable experience. :)

So I have some time and decided to fix my GPS position. I took the cubby holder that originally came in the CB slot and cut the mounting parts off the back and basically cut a hole in the center to make sure that even with the Garmin mounting piece it would be able to fit. Super glued some mounting tape to the back of the cubby holder and the cubby wall.

Put some mounting tape on the back of the GPS unit and on the bottom of the cubby where the GPS unit will sit.

Now the angle of the GPS is directly at me so no more washed out maps at night. IMG_20170729_130950153.jpg IMG_20170729_131104958.jpg IMG_20170729_131725231.jpg

Next project will be figuring out how to route all my wires into the top through the back so they don't have to come out the cubby hole. Antenna power for my CB and power for the GPS.

Try to go there overnight or really early. They get backed up really quick.

Heading there as soon as I'm done here at harvest meats. One of our trucks is ahead of me. I've waited as long as 2 hours at a blue beacon before. Not near as bad as this small washout in Nebraska I went to once. 4 and a half hours because every truck ahead of me was getting hand washes and waxes. Nothing worse than being stuck in line, no way out, with a pu deadline looming.
