So, I'm standing line to pay for a couple of items. Outta nowhere, this 20 something boy just proceeds to walk right on front of me to the cashier like I'm invisible. I say something and he responds with I forgot my drinks to go with my pizza. I said, ok, that doesn't reserve you a spot in line. He gave me the finger and then moved out of the way. I blew off the finger because I have better things to do than fight some kid.
Obviously ; His parents never taught him respect or showed him the back side of a belt ,or made him cut a peach switch !!
Considering I have anger issues along with a few others thanks to the military and past; that would have a very bad thing for both of us if I had let it get to me. I let alot roll off my shoulders just so I can be there for my wife and kids. Which is also why love playing GTA, Dragon Age or Mass Effect. I get to kill stuff with no consequences.
Exact same thing happened to me. My reefer kept getting a yellow light, but I didn't think it was shutting down because I can't hear it from my cab. Every single time I have checked my reefer when it had a yellow light, it always said temp out of range but it was still running, This time, I checked it at my fuel stop and the reefer had shut down and hit fifty degrees..suppose to be at 33. I panicked and called breakdown. Had a hell of a time getting through. I couldn't get the reefer to stay on for more than 5 minutes. I was just over the Arizona border heading to phoenix. They told me to roll with it and take it to ct power. By the time I made CT power, the load was at 62 degrees and climbing. There were two trucks ahead of me and I was biting my nails. Waited two hours and kept turning the reefer on only to have it shut off after five minutes. Temp remained uncomfortably high. It ended up being some nylon compressor belt that broke. It was a saputo cheese load and I was told that it should be okay. In the three years I've been here, that was the most stressful 8 hours I've ever had.
