    I see a performance-based pay scale coming.

My pessimism and optimism are in Conflict right now mainly because I'm hoping that it's just going to be a straight-up pay raise but my pessimism is telling me that they're going to link it to some series of metrics. And that it's going to be hard as hell to hit the raise to the point where it's just more of a pain in the ### than what it's worth and that it's all just a recruitment tool...

    Fingers crossed though

lol was trying to say he's awful proud of the way his product preforms. Cost a lot on his scale.
But really just kidding. Just what I heard some guy saying. :p

I've got mine crossed as well. My hope is that JCT realizes the best and most important recruitment tool, is adequately compensating the drivers you already have. Performance based compensation has its place...but raising the base rate (even if it's only a nickel) paid to the drivers will go a long way in demonstrating that you're serious about keeping the drivers you already have. An across the board rate increase for us all is long, long overdue.

Apparently if you have a ComfortPro if you want an inverter installed you no longer have to get it signed off. They will just put it in now due to issues with the Carrier units...

I think they do realize the pay issue. Last time I was at the yard; I was talking with my DM and she mentioned that they have lost lots of solo and team drivers. The main reason is the falling behind on base pay.

I also do believe that the elog mandate (while I don't agree with it) is going to really make the flaws with the HOS shine like a giant asteroid about to hit earth. This will raise the rates across the board.
