You know when the Walmart clerk asks for your keys and you have to say hold on I need to go get my other set....and they are cool with it...

You would think they would realize that the policy is doing absolutely nothing...

7mpg average from Ontario, CA to Spokane, WA via I-5, US-97, I-84, US 395, I-90. All up hill with 40k in the box. Plus some pretty strong winds from about half of the trip. So, I'm happy with that average.

So my trailer when the tandems were slid all the way back, pulled hard on the apparently repaired airline for supply. Making it leak. Badly.

Good thing is my pickup was in Lexington at the Tyson so I knew it was a drop and hook so I could dump that bad boy...which is exactly what I did....

...by calling Breakdown and getting it dropped at the PBX shop at Tyson, and then picked my load up.

If anyone needs an expense cheat sheet. Here you go. This is from Kevin Rutherford. I just downloaded an uploaded to my Google Drive to share with everyone here.

So, apparently you can't cancel a subscription to SiriusXM through your on-line account manager. You have to call the masters and beg them for a cancellation of radio you no longer have. Oh, and you have to call when it's convenient for them (during certain hours) to explain yourself to them.

It had me annoyed and angry at the same time that I left the above message for them on their feedback form from trying to use the chat help which turned out to be a chat bot.

So, nothing like doing your January business report and seeing your taxable income and profit for the month in the negative because of a truck repair. Well, mostly an overdue maintenance item.

If you are using Profit Gauges from Let's Truck.com then your input your maintenance escrow deduction as retained earnings. This way it balances out in the software, but it's not counted toward your income. Then when it's used, you expense it out on the expense report.

I know that stuff has to be done, but sometimes its just plain depressing.

I also had the shop email my maintenance records for last month. It sucks balls big time having an apu out of warranty. $600 for the alternator replacement. That's with parts and labor.
