Quantity control valve is part of the fuel system of a DD15. I'm not up on all the details of that engine... yet ;)

Nice, That will probably explains the poor fuel econ and why my truck sounds like it is having an asthma attack while idling!

    I can do that!

Well before I left yard on my first load, I was already pre-planed for Kent/Auburn, WA. I'm thinking, hell ya, that's what I'm talking about! I was all set ready to roll on it until I got a message the next day on the QC asking me to confirm the dates I need to be off. I jumped companies 2 weeks early then planned. I refused to bleed profits and it was getting obvious that I was at the wrong place to lease a truck. My DM Keith keep me in the area and keep me moving until the day came that I need off. Since I been with JCT, I will say I'm very impressed. Every message I have sent across the QC has been answered and answered promptly. Even the shop has answered my questions. My truck sounded like it was grunting at me so I was told to write it up and they would look at it. When I informed them that I was leaving for a load, he asked me for my mileage. He informed me that it's still under warranty and to take it to FLT during my home time. Well they found something wrong and I'm waiting to get that "Quantity Control Valve" issue fixed. So with 5 day on and staying around the house, and screwing myself twice, I put 2000 miles on the ground. That's twice the amount I did with that other company in the same amount of time. Terry gave me a great tip on how not to get locked out of your truck. #### FLT! In 12 years I've never been looked out of a commercial vehicle. Yes, First dispatch and got locked out of my truck with it running with the spare key I made inside the truck. Thank god I was next to the FLT dealership. To fix that problem, I now have 4 keys to my truck!

I will have to say one thing, they want you to be successful here. I was uncomfortable with the QC (been on People net) and the reefer. Mike took the time to go over both with me one on one to make sure I understood it. Even other driver have been helpful which can be rare. Driver here even wave to say hi! Been years since I've seen that! I asked Keith Monday if I could stay under is umbrella for a few more weeks until I felt comfortable. He told me, "No Problem!" Sorry, that means the world to me! I sure wished I came over in 2012. I guess it was not meant to be then. I'm finally happy again. Been a long time that I was happy to go to work. I will say that
this is my first reefer, absolutely not like a dry van! Any tip are surely welcomed.

To New comers: Do your Modules before you come to orientation. The new trucks go first!

Still being stabbed by Chucky on that one. I'm a grown man that wanted to cry like a baby because he didn't get what he wanted.
    Oh well, my '12
cascadia has an Tri-pac with inverter, fridge and 480k on it. Wasn't looking at the mileage, just the creature comforts of home. Got the George Foreman, steamer, hot plate, tv, laptop, laser printer, 12-volt water pot, portable stove and microwave in the truck! I'm sound as a pound! In 90 day, I'll see if I can get that new truck I wanted.

If the beginning of the last post was with JCT it sounds as if you had the typical starting of a new company. It never fails when you start at a new company something is bound to go wrong.

But since you have all that stuff in your truck how do you find room to move around on down time?

Any chance to get the driver of that T680 on here?

Watched the YouTube video and it looks real nice. But spit and polish don't make a profit. I'd like some hard data and firsthand experiences.
