Some drivers don't really care as long as the get paid. Those that say oh well screw the next driver they can deal with it need to just leave the industry. This isn't just a job to some of us it is our career and we give a dam about it and how we do the job.

Beyond that, did he not care about the product, without which he wouldnt have a job? Even further, if the reefer gets too low on coolant, I would guess it would just shut down. Now we have a trailer full of bad chicken. Who is gonna pay for that? Is he going to buy that at the grocery store? What happens if we piss off Tyson or Sysco one too many times?

Exactly..... What I was trying to say but failed at it. Still a little irritated with all of the bs from today. Way to many miles put on truck after being unloaded getting trailer washed out and then finding a spot to park.

Im with ya. Hopefully those days arent too common. I usually wait for the run to the next shipper to get my wash. Should usually be able to find one along the route.

Fixed it myself. Dont worry, I was authorized by shop. Couldnt wait for TA texh anymore. I will already be a half hour late. Just borrowed a ladder from TA shop and dumped in the gallon of coolant that Sapulpa bought for me. Now gotta let night dispatch know of my new eta. -
