Running with JCT, Part Deux

Oh ok didn't know they was going to combine them.

 

I didn't either. But I'll take it.

 

I got most of the way home on the afternoon of the 4th. Had my sister come pick me up & left the truck parked overnight at WalMart an hour away.

Picked it up this morning and brought it to the Flying J that's 20 minutes away. Waiting to have another driver come pick up my trailer in the AM.

 

Heard on the radio that the Centramatics will be on sale for $179 per axle from July 7-13.

 

LoL of course they will be since I just got mine less than 2 weeks ago.

On trip note. Sitting in Salinas, CA cause I could only get half of my berries that I was supposed to pick up due to lack of production. Waiting as a bunch of other drivers are to find out if we can run with half a load. Plus that was after a 6 hr delay on loading trailer. Hope everyone else is having a better weekend.

 

Make sure to ask for detention. Talk to Julie or produce lady

 

I'm getting really annoyed with JCT. I'm on home-time due back out tomorrow and they have called me both yesterday and this morning wanting something. What part of home-time don't you freakin understand? Why are you bugging me during a time I'm supposed to be enjoying?

Yesterday was to go rescue a load. They were gonna pay me miles from the house and back plus $100. Are you nuts? Roughly 80 miles round trip plus $100 to be a work in at the receiver. Yeah, no. Not gonna happen. I'd of been there 6+ hours and lost a day off cuz another driver can't do his/her job.

 

Oh I did that already. LoL

 

Last time something like that happened, I got $400 detention/layover for sitting overnight.

 

That will be nice. Sat in at the shipper 6 hrs then in dock for a half hour then have to sit again til Monday more than likely.
