Well, this weekend sucked. First Tyson didn't tell anyone at JCT that they changed the appt time. Which made me 26 hours late picking up the preplan. Thankfully a quick D/H. Now, in one of the construction zones along I-76 the trailer picked up a screw/nail and next thing I know the tire inflation late is on and I hear air rushing through the valve in the truck cause it is consistently sending air to the tire to keep it mostly inflated.

I hope. The only good thing about it is I get to drive through Chicago traffic once on my way out. Delivering at Jewel Osco in Melrose Park.

Already got preplanned to pick up at Tyson in Loganspoint, In heading to McAllen for Friday. Finally getting back south to get me some Tex-Mex.

LoL I've done that load twice. From Jersey to Jewel. Hopefully they gave you a better appointment than the normal 5 pm one.

Man, don't forget your vest in your truck when you get into an "R" truck and go to Ralph's in Riverside. They WILL turn you away to buy one because they don't give loaners and WILL laugh and make fun of the fact that you have to head to Rialto to get one while not looking up from their phones.

I can see why they have a 2.2 rating on Google.

And make sure it's got reflective stripes. 1441705897746-1707828048.jpg

Yep. I have seen a few trucks denied entry because of that. I just usually put mine on while waiting in line there.

I think I have the record for lumper fees. It was $540 because the shipper used the wrong pallets and the consignee had to restacked half the load.
