I seem to remember the last of the 14's and nearly of all of the 15's got the dynajunkwarmedoverRigmaster boat anchor. The one I had had no AC, and blew the coolant recovery tank. The truck was excellent, but the APU cost me a lot of money in idling costs. That was when fuel was 3.80-4.20 range. The Cascadia I had got 7.2-7.4 but never any higher.
There was only about 30 if that, that had gotten the dynasys apu's. Those that did get them was all on the late 2014's. The majority of the 2014's received the TK Tripak units.
D'oh! I meant late 13's and 14's... I pretty sure more than 30 got the dynajunks,I got my truck in March and I left in August of 14 and the first Carriers had come in that month. There had also been a change to the drivelines, as the newer 10-spd Cascadias's were averaging 8mpg, and the first DT-12's were arriving.
I know right. Granted its only 1 cent but idk how long many at jct could turn a profit if it were to have gone below 20 cpm or god forbid 15 cpm
Thats why you buy the cheapest fuel you can along your route and run your truck at optimal rpm for best fuel economy. Just have to be smarter about when and where you fuel. Question: Anyone ever deliver to Taylor Farms in Smyrna, Tn? Is this a drop and hook like the one in Dallas or a live unload? Truck parking on site?
Just from a cursory look on Google Earth I see lots of trailers but no tractors, not even bobtails. I'm gonna guess based on that it's a D/H. Nice to know we do have loads in that area, I'm moving to Columbia/Spring Hill area late next year.
I noticed that also on Google maps, but I never go by that alone. I sent the macro for directions thinking something might be mentioned, but comes back as no directions avaialble. Guess I will find out when I show up at 4am
