Everything I'be hauled so far has been over 40000 lbs. My average has been more like 7 to 7.2 running 10 and 40. I peaked at 8.4 once. I'm on my 5th run this time going from Florida to riverside pulling 74 gross and I'm currently averaging 6.8. I'm only going to be able to net 6 to 800 dollars week at this rate.

Stopped the other day at MHC Carrier in Little Rock to have the broken belt replaced. It was and found out the reason it broke was because the genny went out on the APU. I had load deliver and didn't have the extra time for them to overnight a new one and install it.

Well, now kinda regretting that choice. Spent the night in Nashville where the temp got down to around 35 degrees. I refuse to idle the truck, so I just covered with two blankets. That choice for me sick and actually up chucked while driving. Quite the news to clean up. The load I am on now has a window from 3am til 1pm Monday.

This is why I normally just keep my mouth shut anymore. You need at least three months in to get a good idea of an average take.

One other item is long term vision, don't lose sight of the deferred compensation as that does make a big difference. That is a major item I see most overlook.

You make a good point. I'm going to stick it out. I'm just jumpy because I was getting about the same mileage in my older truck and paying less. I'm definitely noticing a major cost difference as I do my rolling expense calculations and it makes me jumpy. Still love the truck and the way I run so I'm not doom crying just sharing my numbers. I never mac 41, maybe it's more efficient to run shorter hops?

Hey all.. Looking at moving over to JCT and was just wondering what the pay is?? Site says .90cpm plus FSC. Is this accurate? Being frugrual about my MPG, I don't mind running slower if it gains me a half to mile more MPG to save money, as long as their not like my last. I'm not even gonna get started there. But anyways. I know I won't get rich and don't expect to. I was a Paramedic for 20yrs and reitred but can't touch money till 62 so I keep chugging away. Been a driver now for about 4 yrs, (drove heavy haul in Army. M1's from Ft. Lewis, WA to Ft. Chaffee, AR and back for a couple yrs.) that was fun and didn't have to worry about all the regs and stuff. Enjoyed it and am now driving full time. Thx for the time.
Stay safe and remember the tunnel is alway dakest just b4 the train comes rolling in. lol

Thank you. I saw that. But was just wondering if it was still correct. I have talked with other jobs and was told what they showed in their page was old and that there had been an increase in pay and that web page was wrong. That is why I was asking. But thank you again.
