Never heard of it. But why would you want to run the route the all knowing computer routes anyway. They are the shortest possible and usually taking you through every small #### town in the state. Which means takes more time and more fuel. I limit my time on the smaller roads and try to stick to interstates when possible where I can make better time and get better fuel economy than the smaller roads.
You'll never get exact. Because it's zip code to zip code. The pay route to Phoenix from i40 east of Arizona takes you south of Holbrook through Payson and such.... You try to stick to pay route you will go broke.
Anyone delivered to harvest meats in Orlando? They do parking after hours or only parking during business hours?
If your getting around eight mpg it'll be ten gallons of fuel. So around twenty bucks to go eighty miles of route. But would you get that good of mileage on JCT route. Probably not. Also wear and tear on the truck for small roads is always something to consider. I also try to stick to highways and less mountainy routes. Hate the constant braking from towns and sharp corners...
Heavy loads too you'll want to stay on big road...better fuel economy less wear and tear on the truck as well...
I figured that out last summer, kept getting routed on i70 west of Denver. Finely figured out it only cost me like fifteen bucks to stay north on i80. Sure I saved that from not tackling that Colorado mountain. And the construction traffic blows up there. Plus the low speed high rpm, takes forever and kills your truck.
