If every trailer repair turns into an 8 hour break... I'm just not going to get them fixed.....

<Smiling with empathy> The ONLY thing that will lie faster, more consistently inconsistent and convincingly than a fuel gauge is an Ex to a Court! Take BOTH to the bank, 'cause BOTH are surely takin' YOU to the Bank! LOL. Got an Ex-Anything? How much do you TRUST it? Trust your fuel gauge in ANY truck model as much as you trust your EX-whatever! Just sayin'!

OH! Don't try throwing money at the problem either - EITHER, either! Waste of Greenbacks. Money won't fix this one - or the other. It's a root seated, hardwire problem YOU (the DRIVER) must learn how to compensate for. With the fuel gauge - I have a stick but mostly I use my MPG and miles since last fueling as my "fuel gauge" That thing on the dash is kinda a "what-eva" kinda close, sometimes. maybe GUIDE.

Know your fuel, and know your burn rate and know how to compensate for your route; you'll never run out. DON'T TRUST A FUEL GAUGE!! (or an Ex in Court. LOL)!!

Old School Schnitzel. Take it for what you deem it to be worth.
