Running with JCT, Part Deux

You have to take weather people with a certain amount of skepticism...... 0% chance of precipitation and sunny all day....meanwhile as I look out my windshield of said area, torrential downpour and no sun shine in sight

 

Made the first pick in Chelan. Got in and out in 45 minutes. They have no indication that anything was wrong. All seemed normal. I get to second pick in Brewster and they tell me that I was suppose to pick up yesterday. My dispatch says for today. She gives me a number to call and says if I call, then I would be loaded today, and on her experience when the driver turns it over to their company, they are loaded the next day.

So, I call the number. The guy in the phone wasn't surprised and it happens alot. Then says I can get you in at 1215 today. I go back in to shipping and tell her and now just waiting for the call to back to a door.

If I had known this yesterday, I could have this pick yesterday, then spend the night in Chelan, and been on my way now.

 

Me to planner: Hey, if you have a load to Florida, I'll take it.

Planner: yeah, I can hook you up

Pre plan: to Clarksville, AR

Someone needs to review the position of the states on a map. IJS
