I've been hit by Gordon and Prime while parked this last calendar year. Wonder who gets me this year...

So, for you clowns that have been here a while, what is your view of the company shop?

I've just about given up on them. Every time I get stuff done something gets effed up. That and they grease the interior of my truck every time.

Fixing their ef-ups and cleaning the grease marks has worn old. Its a shame because a couple of guys in there are good.

I haven't had many problems, but do you know if its possible to actually get a "receipt" of what hits your Maintenance account from them?

If they're leaving grease inside your truck..I would be showing mgt that and raising 7 kinda of hell...there's no excuse for doing,that...no different if you were at an outside shop..

Yes. now when you get shop work done, you get an invoice with the amount to be paid right there and then. You sign for it and that's what comes out of your escrow.

I'll say this much, it's much better than it was 3 years ago before Chris Langley got there. The minute they fired the crooks and replaced them, the shop got better.

Something some of you may not be aware of......PM service for our trucks is now $269.00. This is for oil change and oil filter.
After a couple years of arguing about the excessive price of a PM service at our shop, they finally conceded and lowered it.

Next on the agenda, PM service for APU. They want $179.00 for service on a TK unit. You can buy all the filters from the parts dept for $45, go to Speedco and get a service for $34.99. Total out of pocket is $80.00 + tax.

PM for truck is all trucks. You could prob do the same with the Comfort Pro, but I am not familiar with the pricing on those filters
