Hi guys, I'm looking into JCT. Taking my time, running the numbers and making sure I'm prepared so I don't fail. I like to run, is the 2800-3000 miles avg realistic? Been driving for 4 yrs and I'm ready to take the next step. Any info or advice would be welcomed. Also does anyone have any experiance with the paccar motors? I love my KW's but, I'm nervious about that motor. Heard it has a lot of issues with the first generation of them. I'm willing to take a risk but, succedeing and being profitable is top priority.

Take a look at all the posts on this forum. Lots of useful info on here between the b.s.. Also look at the other thread Running with JCT.
Yes it's a ton of reading, but if you're serious about making the jump, do the proper research and read all the good, bad, and funny stuff on here.

    Bigrigger77 and dhkwanderer Thank this.

Not trying to sound like a jerk, but you'll get more answers by reviewing the posts than you will by asking a few questions

    Bigrigger77 and Kamkor Thank this.

I second that. When I was thinking of coming here a year ago I read every page of this long ### thread, and it answered about 95% of my questions.

I run about 2800 to 3k a week unless I'm doing home time. Last year I average 2780 last year after my home time.

Miles are there if you want them.

    Go to http://jctvariablelease.com/

You plug in different numbers to get an idea of what a sample paycheck will look like. You can also see that lower miles with a better fuel economy can make you more money.

Yep. Miles is however many your want. I average 2700-3000 miles a week myself. All depends how you want to run. JCT has miles. Just need drivers that want them.

LOL, I just looked up my average weekly miles.
    2014 - 2275 miles
    2015 - 2196 miles

Now please don't think that's all they give me. That is 100% MY CHOICE.
I'm the laziest person I know. I like my time off too much.

Thanks, I like to run and from the calculations I've ran so far keeping the mpg up is the most important thing. My numbers look decent. Can you tell me what the current FSC is running? I'm pretty well sold on going with JCT just finalizing a few items before I take the plunge.
