Even with those miles on a down week I should be fine. But, if thats was it consistantly I'd be better as a company driver.
I think the only problem for the most part with jct and miles is...not enough hours...if you catch the drift...
Thats not always a bad thing. From what I'm seeing I will be fine. If it was just me I'd jump in a second but, I have a family. So I have to be more cautious. I spoke with the medical provider today. Coverage is about $10-$15 more than I pay now. Getting some more qoutes to find the best plan/price for me. Will be speaking with my cpa next week hopefully about taxes.
I would certainly appreciate it if the president extended the 70 out to a 90 work week. On another note if I wouldn't be doing a lot of sitting I'd turn down every Walmart load that was sent my way. I'm tired of dealing with them. Every Walmart load I move Sam Walton's ghost appears and touches me in my no-no places when I'm in the sleeper. He than whispers in my ear before he disappears that no one will believe me if I told on him. If that wasn't enough when I show up on time I'm waiting at least 4 hours to be unloaded. If I'm 1 minute late to the window I'm doing a reset at Walmart. If someone shorts Walmart 1 bag of lettuce I'm doing a reset at Walmart. If I dare to complain at the window I might as well get ready for a 34.
What speed are you guys running? I know where the trucks are governed. What kind of mpg are you getting at your speed and what kind of truck are you driving?
