Thanks TA, that's exactly what I did. Seen some characters, but no clowns. Ha ha, walked over to a park, was pretty neat.

 

The annual "Rape a Trucker" or brake check week is fast approaching in early june. I need to head to a TA and get a full brake check inspection done before long.

I read earlier that Nebraska has been doing their own surprise inspection blitzes and putting many drivers out of service.

 

I'll be home that week. Y'all can have fun pulling into every weigh station.

 

I got pulled into a station in Texas. I was confused. Of course they grabbed the hot shotter in front of me for the level 1

 

Whew, 32 Cold Storage in Huntington Park, CA ain't no picnic backing in either.

 

Saputo Cheese in Tulare, CA was a breeze to get into. Lots of space, fast loading times, and parking afterwards. If only I could get a dedicated route out of that plant.

 

Get to JBS hear in beardstown IL last night and get a message that my load is not going to be ready till Wed. They drop that load from me and give me a load that is 1200 miles shorter so i went from a 5000 mile week to a 1000 mile week luck of the draw i guess. they should give me something for the cancel of the load i would think.

 

Ask for it. I got a little pay when a jbs load cancelled on me after I got there.
