It would be nice if the shop at least kept flow below in stock so you could just roll in and get one installed and it all come from your maintenance account.

so I just had one of the most fuster-clucked Tyson experiences in Center. Apparently they put one trailer on two sets of bills. So two different pick up numbers would pool the same trailer. So one driver got there before me and he got the trailer. I show up and get my pickup number about 12 hours later and they give me a trailer number. I'll look through the entire lot no trailer.

So night crew goes through the records and sees that 12 hours prior that trailer was signed out and departed. They don't even know what's on that trailer. Come to find out that driver had the bills for a San Bernardino and Colton stop but he had the product for my Colton only load. There was a trailer that was ready but no bills for it because that number didn't exist, and it contained the San Bernardino and Colton load.

So basically they had to fax the bills for my Colton only load to the driver that had already Departed and then make new bills for the load that was sitting on the lot and dispatch basically swapped our loads out.

My new load also had to be reworked twice because it was 37000 pounds on the trailer at California's position.

I heard the funniest CB comeback the other night in Arkansas. There is a dryvan in front of me and a flatbed merging onto highway. Dryvan driver moved over to left lane to allow merging flatbed room. Here is the CB conversation:

Dryvan: Come on over flatbed. Your clear to merge.

    Flatbed: No response

At this point the flatbed is running on the shoulder. Dryvan stays in left lane and passes the flatbed.

Dryvan: I see your too busy texting on phone to drive your truck.

Flatbed: I ain't texting on my phone.

Dryvan: ########!! I saw you when I passed you. How about you put your phone down and drive. Then maybe you wouldn't be driving on the shoulder.

Flatbed finally merged into right lane.

Flatbed: I said I ain't texting. I'm watching my companies safety videos that are due today.

Dryvan: Oh. I think your safety department would love to know that.

    Flatbed: #### you #####!!

I was laughing so hard at the point and gave the flatbed a wide berth as I passed him also.

That would be absolutely hilarious to get that on a dash cam video with the audio and send that to his company... LOL

Both me and the other driver called his company. The safety manager didn't need any dash cam footage. He looked up the trucks QC status and checked the companies safety training site and saw it right there on his computer. He said he would take of it.

I still gotta figure out the settings on my dash cam. It's not recording audio, but it's probably just a setting to change.

Also, the Target next to Flying J in Kingman, Az has 32GB MicroSD cards for $15 right now. Not sure how long that special is going to last, but if you need one, it's a good price. I got one for my dash cam. At full HD, it will record 4.5hrs before looping over. At standard quality, it will record 8.5hrs and at low (VHS) quality, it will record 56hrs. I have set for full HD to have the best quality evidence I can.
