Having a hard time justifying upgrading to a new truck. 15 weeks times $120 a week plus 40,000 miles times $0.20 plus 3 tires = $12,000+ invested already into the business.
It's simple math really. You'll never have equity until the last 18 months or so. By that time, truck will be out of warranty and every little thing week be your dime. Anytime you can walk away without financial penalty is a bonus (walk away lease). New truck, 1st owner, full warranty, comprehensive knowledge of entire history of truck (abuse and all) is priceless.
Why is it wherever I go to Tyson and I want to take a break or sleep, the load is ready 7 days before the drop dead time and when I'm ready to run, they're 10 hours late. Screw it...I'm going to bed. LOL
Yike, bad news. How much did a windshield cost? I have what looks like a stress crack on the passenger side down low.
