The absolutely BEST thing about this thread that differentiates it from all other L/O-related threads is the civil tone and positive attributes of the comments and commenters. The whining and sniveling is kept under wraps and the naysayers are, well, nay here, laddie!

Makes me want to work for the company.

Got a quick unload in Russellville. They haven't sent me a preplan yet, so I'm hanging out at the Hook empty and available. There's not much mystery here, I'm sure to be running some chicken back west.

I have an interesting new issue today. For some reason I can't access page 100 here in my Firefox browser. Pages 1-99 are fine. I had to resort to the dreaded Internet Explorer! Put it like this: if Firefox is your girlfriend, then Internet Explorer is a lot lizard. Guess I'll do the usual clear the cache and possibly a reinstall.

 

And here comes a preplan: Van Buren, AR to Riverside, CA. Total of 1,551 miles delivering early Monday. Time for lunch!

I have Firefox and it is working for me.

 

I cleared the browser history and cache and all is well now.

I talked to CapeBuffalo this morning. He's starting his third week with JCT and is picking up in Kent, WA going to Lebanon, IN for about 2,300 miles. He says he'll post on here once he gets his computer and wifi on the truck. He told me to give a shout out and that if anyone sees truck L2423C on the road, give him a holler!

 

I'm hanging out in Russellville to get an 8 hour split sleeper berth. I'm scheduled to pick up at 8 pm, but if I don't take the break, I'll be out of hours when I get there. The plan is to run 4 hours tonight, if possible, then two big 600+ mile days to Riverside for an 04:00 delivery Monday. If they take too much time tonight, then I'll have to do another I-40 relay. Deja vu.
