It's little things like this that can make a big difference in your day or even week.
Making sure the trailer tires are legal and properly inflated not only keeps you on the road and rolling, it helps your bortom line. Alot of guys think just because its not their trailer it's no money out of their pocket. But it is your fuel pulling that trailer. It only makes sense that trailer is properly maintained while you have it.Last edited: Oct 25, 2013

Got my pre-plan on my way to deliver this morning: Green Bay, WI to Sumner, WA. It's somewhat over 2,200 total miles because of our routing around the Dakotas and Montana. My hours are pretty ragged and I might have to swap this one.
Chicago traffic just keeps getting worse. I drove 44 miles in 3 hours at one point. I got to the shipper with 15 minutes left on the HOS. Load was ready, just drop and hook. Another ridiculous sideways trailer swap. Don't we have any new trailers anywhere? Hooked on to the new old trailer and called it a night. Yay for sleeping at the shipper! This trailer is no beauty queen, but the load is: twelve pallets, total of 21,826 pounds going long. Not bad! -

You must be referring to MY favorite place on Earth, the Chicago I90 Parking Lot. Well, okay...favorite after Denali National Park and a dentist's chair. I've gotten so tired of pushing a clutch in for hours on end that if I can make an overnight drive to avoid it, I do.Sharpp Thanks this.

Just passed Terry trafficcontrolxl in that gorgeous silver truck and trailer on I 40 in New Mexico! We are driving East, saw him going west toward Moriarty. Wow, that truck looked nice! About 4:17pm mountain time, mm 204.
Sharpp, luvtotruck and Trafficcontrolxl Thank this. -
Sharpp if the weather stays decent why not just run on 90? haven't checked the weather for up in that area but seems crazy to not run it in good weatherSharpp Thanks this.

Please see the FAQ's, lol. It's all about covering loads for demanding customers. We don't have enough loads that would run on I-90 to cover a driver out of hours (me) or a breakdown. The company is happy to pay me to come down to 80 and I'm happy to get the extra miles.luvtotruck Thanks this.
