That's a nice looking auto. Sure looks like a 13speed to me. Dnt know bout the optimized idle either. Isn't that the 1, where it turns ur trk on for a short period of time? I'd rather have a Apu, or a idle free Apu. He'll if ur pulling a reefer a Idle Free APU is where it's at. Maximum savings right? Just my .02

We used to start out with four weeks with no payments, (interest would accrue) and that was very nice! They basically gave you $3k, lol. Alas, not any more. You still get full tanks, but like Avis, you have to fill 'em before you turn it back in.

JCT pays for reefer fuel and most everything else you'd think they should: scales, tolls (EZ Pass, Pike Pass), lumpers, and washouts. Yes, it's on the settlement as an expense/reimbursement. You DO get to keep the points on your Loves card though, lol.

I'm sure that they won't EVER guarantee you a certain truck. In my two orientations with them, I got the Cascadia that I wanted, and I will eventually upgrade to my DT12 Evo. Finally, if they bumped us up to a buck a mile, it would become VERY difficult to get on here! Imagine, no touch freight, 1,400 mile avg length of haul, and making $65k/yr or more while paying off a new truck. Pretty easy sell, lol.

Just FYI, all the new Evolutions at JCT come with the ThermoKing APU and a "deer bumper".

Nice...thanks brotha...hey, would you be willing to post a settlement on here sometime, after darkening out the private info? Be nice to see the specifics sometime.

And yes, when they go to $1/mile...stand back! Right now, Sunco does not pay scales, and they don't pay reefer fuel on their % plan...just the mileage plan. Personally, I'm starting to think their mileage plan is just a shell game, moving around the numbers to show us now getting all deadhead & reefer fuel - but the bottom line is - at least in the SE division - that the settlement is less at the end of the week. One has to remember that the $ is in the southbound freight back INTO FL for them... and one loses that on mileage. Sorry, not trying to hijack your excellent thread, Sharpp - just comparing notes! Keep it comin'!!!

Beautiful...I'll take six of them to start... to kick off my new company. Here, this cool $1 million should cover it...

Wait! I was just looking at the pics of the Evo from this link: is that the dreaded "Opti-Idle" on there that starts and shuts off the truck all stinking night long? If so, I want my million back...

Ahh, beautiful, you're way ahead of me - I can't even keep up! That's a nice looking settlement sheet - well laid out and defined, easy to read. Should make it easy for any accountant, etc. to see what's doing there. I had to bring in a Navajo Code talker to interpret mine from Sunco - but I'm still getting used to it - just been there a month. Thanks again.

was just making an observation of the link Risenphoenix linked. Truck paper posted a auto cascadia evo, but in the pics it's a 13 speed.and that's kewl JCT hooks it up with a TK APU, and deer basher. I was just throwing my opinion out about a Idle free APU.they calculate an additional 10-15K in savings. Since no diesel used. But I have no exp. wit them. Srry dnt mean to hijack ur thread. Been following since u started
