Flyboynme I hate hearing when stuff likes this takes place. Your husband treacly needs to call in on Monday and speak to Marty Means. Getting you guys that registration should have taken little time and effort. But management can't fix what they don't know is broken, so please make a point of letting them know.

Hi Sharp..I very like your post. I have more question if you don't mind.
What is JCT Load Plan ?
Do we have a load option or JCT have to dispatch
Can we View loads days in advance and pre-assign the freight we want to move. JCT is using LB that we can log in and see what loads are available, any time, day or night. When we decide ?

    Thank you

Thanks, Terry, I just read this to Tim and he said he will do that. We are on our way to Sapulpa today to try to get a Qualcomm, since ours is dead. He will try to talk to someone today as well.

We got to Greenville IL at 0230 hrs and they had not faxed anything to the Loves here either. He called again, talked to yet another dispatcher, since Tom's shift was over by then. He told the story all over again, asked if someone could please fax the registration to this Loves so it would be waiting in the morning when he got up. The dispatcher didn't seem to know how to pass that message along, said to call back in the morning. Tim said, can't you leave a note for the morning shift? Guess not.

10:15 am Tim called dispatch again, got Cheryl, his dispatcher of the day, who he told this to yesterday morning and asked her for the registration. He said she had passed him to a voicemail box yesterday, he left a MSG to send the registration and got no answer. So this morning she passed him to Ron, who she said has access to that info and Tim told the story to him. He asked a lot of questions, wanted to know who was helping Tim last night. Well, nobody, actually. He got no help at all. It's now been 34 hours since Tim first reported that the registration was missing. And he has told about a dozen people, some of them more than once, that he needs one faxed to him. So Ron said he would fax it to the Loves. And, thank you God and all the angels! He did! Tim got the fax about an hour later, came out to the truck all smiles, holding up the fax, shouting, "it's a miracle!" :). Yay!

We are on our way to Sapulpa right now, should get there in 460 miles. And it's a gorgeous day out there! 45 degrees, sunny! Have a great day everyone!

luvtotruck, Lady K and DADof3 Thank this.

Looks like we will be spending the night in Sapulpa, the shop closes at 6pm and we won't get there in time. Is there a driver's lounge, showers, food at the yard or should we look for a truck stop?

There is a driver's lounge, showers and laundry in the building by the truck wash, and you can order Chinese or pizza for delivery. There's also Wifi in the lounge.

Flyboynme! Sounds like someone is going to get a butt chewing? For not doing there job or finding someone to get it done, Those night and weekend dispatchers are kind of in a disadvantage, they are told to handle everything but may not be taught to do it, or forgot since how often does a trailer need a registration sent for it to be replaced in the trailer box? Sorry to hear about your QC! I hope it gets replaced with a '14 EVO or something like that, Glad you have a bathroom and WiFi and Tim needs a shower! You don't? Are you angelic and don't need showers anymore?

LOL, Luvtotruck! Yep, I'm angelic alright! But I still need to shower! I took his pilot card this morning and ran in and got one. He said we didn't have time for showers this morning so I asked him how long before he was rolling and he said an hour and 15 min. So I said there was plenty of time, he didn't think so. I said ... Watch Me! And I ran. I was back at the truck, all shiny and clean in 40 minutes, hair washed and dried too! I told him to go grab a shower but he said no time and off we went. Hey, I have learned that if the opportunity presents itself, grab it! If you don't, you ride dirty. lol
