Yes ma'am I hear ya! Would he have left ya if you were not back? I always take what you could get! jump at every opportunity to shower and polish the Solar Panel! I have one of those rather then messing with the drying curling combing and all that stuff! Glad to hear you are enjoying yourself out there on the road, Now get your CDL and sleep while he is driving and Versa Vise! Then you would be a help rather then not so much! Have a Good Trip once you get that new(QC) truck! let us know where you are headed next. Thanks.

solar panel? Oh my gosh, you can probably shower in less than 10 min. It takes me a good 15 min just to blow dry my hair. I don't curl it, it's stick straight and that's just fine. The unpacking and setting up the bathroom with all my stuff, then packing it all back up takes the longest, hate that.

We are one hour from Sapulpa right now. HOping that new Qualcomm comes wrapped in a nice new Evo... Wouldn't that be a nice surprise.

That wasn't the issue, there were plenty of shower rooms at the Pilot. He just didn't want to take the time. Makes me laugh, though. We were taking a load up to Canada during the summer and spent the night at a Truckstop up there. Once parked, we went inside and asked for a team shower and the guy gave us one room and 2 towels, with a big smile on his face. He said all teams shower together, still smiling. It was creepy.

i asked Tim where that was and he said it was one of those 5th Wheels (filthy wheel, as they are known). But they pump your fuel for you and wash the windows!

 

I only shower at the Flying J and TA up there. I will in NO WAY stop at a Husky. Everyone I've been in I seriously get into it with them. I don't wanna end up in jail in Canada, so I just avoid those a holes.

 

The QC is fixed! The guys at the TA shop in Sawyer MI removed the fuse and didn't replace it! They pulled her plug! So we didn't get the pretty new Evo wrapper because we didn't get a new QC, they just plugged her life support back in, here at the shop. We got a free truck wash out of the deal though, so that was cool, got all that ham blood off the tires from that load we brought in.

We are now bobtailing to AR, Tyson, to pickup a load and taking the load to California! 1600 miles!

OH, forgot to tell you, Tim didn't get his shower either, there was no hot water in the men's shower room. But I got the laundry done. For free!

 

Come on out west! The weather is fine and they don't make ya team shower unless you want to!

 

That's the least they could do given the nonsense with the trailer registration.

 

On US 412 right now, have seen many deer! Just passed a 6 or 8 point buck on the edge of the road! Right there! If I stuck my hand out the window I could've grabbed his rack! We really need one of those deer guards.

 

What state are you in? Those must be educated deer! If they were dumb they would have been lined up in the road. Maybe next time you are back at the shop you will be there under other circumstances and can check into a Bambi Guard!
