Sharpp, thats awful, hope you feel better in the morning. Not fun.

Truck stops are dangerous, I almost got hit yesterday while getting out of the truck. I was standing on the step, leaning in to get my dog off the seat to take her outside. A Schneider truck pulled in right next to my door within a couple inches of the mirror! I looked right at the guy and he was smiling, like it was so much fun to almost take out another person! Freaked me right out! I couldn't move out of his way. What a jerk.

I know I've pissed off some super truckers the way I drive at 10mph through the lot. How dare I keep them from running people down and driving 6" off the 4 wheelers rear bumper at 70...

Close call with parking lot idiot. Hope you feel better soon.

I had my own close call like that at the Kroger in Clackamas, OR. I was opening my doors when a Foster Farms driver HIT the door I was opening and knocked me more then a little silly with it. The guard shack saw it, threw him off the property, and called his company.

With a bambi killer, they will just bounce off, you will have some blood and guts on your hood and fender but nothing major

So, $1600 for a Bambi guard vs 22 grand for damage repair, like the person who hit the elk was saying? Guess we will invest in the guard.

Truck down when we got to Cheyenne yesterday and the same truck this morning when we drove by again. Looks like he is OK. His load and pallets were alongside the truck in the median.

Thanks. Yeah I recovered fine from it, had a headache the next day so I probably had a concussion. I've had a few concussions over the years so I knew how to deal with it.
