I did get on the radio to check with other drivers to see if anyone stopped, or if anyone had seen what happened. From the resonses, I gathered that there were a couple of vehicles that were just merging into traffic that stopped. ..it was on I-81 NB @ mm61, in PA.

I left Rocky Mount Va. today and am in Farmington NY. now and I saw that one this evening as I came thru that area but it was just the flat bed there with his lights off and emergency flashers on in the center lane. Talked to a guy from the same company as I work for and he said that someone had hit him in the back of trailer when he came thru about an hour or so later. Could not figure out why no police or anyone was there directing traffic.

I got tagged by a car that spun out beside me on the Mordor (DC) beltway. She hit the center divide and spun. Then shot across all lanes of traffic right in front of me.

    #### near jack knifed with an empty box on wet roads. I was able to slow enough that all she did was leave some paint on the bumper. Her car didn't fair nearly as well. She hit the right shoulder guard rail and rolled.

Now this is the good part. After getting stopped and activating the spycam, I was put on hold by 911. I ran back to the car expecting to see a horror show. Nope, she's out of the car, sitting on the guard rail, on the phone with only a tiny cut on her hand.

We got on the road around 6am, got as far as the Welcome center at Coalville, Utah . Had to stop, Tim is still sick, said he was feeling dizzy so had to go back to the sleeper. He said to wake him in an hour and he will try to get a little further down the road. At least the roads are clear, yesterday was not fun. It's minus 6 degrees out there, a heat wave compared to the past few days temps that were in the minus double digits.

Hope he gets better soon. I hate being sick, (not that I anyone really likes it lol) but a truck is one place I especially hate to be sick. That's one of those "there's no place like home" moments.

I think all professional drivers should have been given this week off. I was on I-80/94 in Chicagoland this morning and saw the clean up of what had to be a fatal accident involving a semi (the left front was demolished) and a full-size pickup of some kind. There wasn't much left of it and there was a debris pattern about ⅛ of a mile long in the roadway...including a carseat.

Kinda puts it all in perspective, you know?
