I made a delivery in Denver, then got a preplan from Grand Island, NE. To Oklahoma City, with a stop in Enid, OK. along the way. I know it's only 475 miles loaded, but the 397 mile deadhead and the extra step pay is nice for an overnight run. Be good and be safe everyone.

Btw to the Volvo guy that owned his truck and claims the repair bills made him broke, I suppose he didn't set up a maintenance account with jct did you? If you did like I did, they are willing to help you with your repairs and you pay them back with anywhere from 15 cent to 20 cent a mile deduction til it's paid off. Now if you didn't have a maintenence account and you expected jct to help you out then I have to tell you that you're sol. As Darryl once told me, it'd be like offering you an interest free loan. So just to be clear to everyone, maintenence costs will not make you a negative settlement. You run 0 miles for the week then 0 dollars are deducted for maintenance. Now on the other hand your truck payment, and the rest of your fixed costs still come out when you're not running. Many of you tend to forget that.

Well the loads are still messed up a bit from the holidays, and we have to wait till tomorrow morning to load in Austin for Turlock. So here I sit bored out of my underwear at a flying j on I 35 south of Temple. BTW this backyard here is real tight. I'm getting sick of the great shrinking truckstop. Oh well I get to sleep all day tomorrow while Joe gets to bump a dock. At least I have a really interesting show to watch as these trucks try to squeeze into the spots here.

Save the money for the honey dos, and finish restoring one of my motorcycles. Alan, good to see you poke your head in here, and thanks. Flatbed, not to speak out of turn but I do know Alan is still with us.

On a 3 stop load to Ohio and Pa and after seeing the weekend weather I guess my luck of mild weather running may come to an end.
