I said i wouldn't respond but I just got to to show exactly how little you know about what you are talking about. The fixed payment at jct is $120/wk if you run 0 miles that week. It goes up from their on a per mile basis. Thanks for playing. Next.

If you run the 2500 mile is the same week, then the $120.00 plus accessorial charges and then a Cents per mile for the 2500 miles, Depending on the type age and everything else on the truck, the maintenance on the truck is a savings account for you to use on the truck, when the lease is up you can get that back or I assume you can continue to pay into it to maintain the truck, I really wish you would read the rest of this thread before getting into it over something you don't know anything about. Good Luck.

    2500*$1.33 ($0.90 base + $0.43fsc) =$3325 gross.-$1357 fuel ($3.80@7mpg) -$0.09 maint for $225, - fixed costs of $270.35 and -$450 ($0.18 lease) for a net of $1022.65

2500 miles is a tad low. Figure 2800 easy. I'm closer to 3000.

And don't forget the $225 maintenance is your money.

Edit:just got notice the fsc is $0.44 this week

I saw one of the maroon Prostars today on I-80 going West the number was 23xxK. I was wondering how old the truck was since it has had 11 different lease operators. You would think if the truck would be a turd they would have gotten rid of it by now. Looks like a lot of unprepared wannabe business owners gave it a go and failed.

As for Markealy just go to the JCT website they have a calculator that shows all cost and you can enter the mileage to get some numbers.

I'm sure they sense the same arrogance that you are showing here, they don't need to prove anything to anyone. The system works if you take the numbers that TAfool have posted he made .409 CPM! That is better then $.36 CPM if you ask me!

What amazes me is the people who come onto one thread started by a guy for a specific purpose (bet most of them, including the most recent person, have never read the entire thread) and then try to convince everyone who's on this thread that "all" leases are "bad" and that "owning a truck" is the only way to go. Doesn't matter what anyone says; these people want to a change my mind to fit their view of "normal."

Well, markealy, it's never worked before and won't work with the "regulars" here, so please stop trying to hijack this thread. Why not take your opinion, to which you are entitled, somewhere else? You have no audience here.
