Well, I know he changed MY mind. I'm going to buy my own truck. Internet search..begun! I'll just call my DM and tell her I want to do it all by my self so she won't have to give me any more loads. I'll just become rich when I buy my own truck.

Hey I found one too it is a 2015 new Freightliner Cascadia Evolution red in color, at the Local Dealer here crossed the Street from the Pee Lot here in Tolleson Az, I told them his name and that he told me to "buy a truck" and they said they had word that I was on my way in, They will have the truck ready tomorrow afternoon, I'm not going to worry about the business side of things like customer relations or anything else like that I'm sure either you or this dude that told me to go buy a truck will get me enough loads, and I told my family I won't be seeing them for a while like 6 years because I have a set $5800 Truck payment each month but that I'd send them all the money I can after I buy fuel at full pump price because I'm not with a large company that gets a discount and then I will hire an accountant to pay my Fuel taxes and 2290 and all that other stuff that a regular company does for the driver who is in a Lease Purchase but it is OK I think I will be successful as this guy told me to go buy a truck.

    Thank You.

Just think, I was seriously considering this lease/purchase program where you get a good, low-to-no mileage truck that if I didn't like the program, area of operation, or simply was a poor businessman, I could just turn in that truck, no harm, no foul.

Instead, I think I will go out and buy a well used (aka worn out) truck and if I don't like it or am a bad businessman, too bad, so sad. I'm stuck with it until I get so far behind the finance company comes and gets it from whatever truckstop parking lot I happen to be in when the repo man gets the orders and the urge and by then, the mortgage company has already forced my family out of our house due to lack of payment.

    Yeah, that's a GREAT plan.

Leasing is not for everybody. That being said, it is nice to see everybody jump up when someone wants to bring negativity to this thread. Just had a nice dinner with Bamafan here at the TA east of Seattle and ready to settle in for my restart.

Boy you guys are mean. That was like watching a pack of dogs chasing a three legged cat. :biggrin_25523:

I should be coming through there Wednesday Terry. I might have to pull in there and see if you are still there.

Oh I've got one for you! Well, almost. After I deliver this 1,617 mile trip to Tyson in Olathe, KS tomorrow, I pick up a loaded trailer at the same Tyson and take it to Arcadia, FL for 1,269 miles. It's going to cut into my deadhead average, but it has to be warmer in Florida! There ain't no brass monkeys out here tonight! I'll tell you more about it after I grab a bite.
