Glad some people are having a good day. I've been parked on the shoulder of a two lane rd in pa with a flakey air governor since noon.

And it never fails... If I put out triangles anywhere other than an interstate some stupid sob runs them over. :biggrin_25512:

Not to argue since I have been following your adventures here for a few years, but if you got that price with that deductible, you are HEAVILY subsidized. I am an Insurance Broker. Quit selling health because of the garbage that was mandated by GovCo.

I would be curious what the real unsubsidized premium of your plan is.

Georgia got a dusting of snow and it looks like a "Mad Max" sequel around here! I stopped by the Flying J in Resaca for the night, but it was at 120% capacity by 5 pm. I finally found an icy spot in Adairsville. The plan is to sit tight until Atlanta thaws out. JCT is going to reschedule this load for a Friday delivery since a swap didn't make much sense.

Today was safety bonus day; the day when we hear what we made during the last quarter of 2013. Mine was pretty weak: $617.50. At $.02/mile, that equals 30,875 paid miles for those three months. This compares with the $740 or so bonus that I got in September. I really took a lot of time off in November and December and it shows! By contrast, since coming back out on the road Jan 3rd, I've driven 11,570 miles. . . some of those PAID! Tomorrow is a planned 425 mile sprint to Ocala if my hours hold out.

So, how does one set an Elog on virtual fire? In the last seven days I ran 3,637 miles. I've turned in 2,988 miles for next week's settlement (over 7 mpg too!) for something over $1,200 cleared. Friday morning I'll send in my first trip for the next check at 1,269 miles. Miles and MPG's. That, and buying your fuel sensibly will make you money in the lease/op game.

Well I got out of orientation on tues day and after a shocking call from home I found out that Missery had pulled the trigger 2 days early on putting peoples license on hold that didn't have their medical card link into their license. After spending most of the morning with a very helpful lady in Compliance office she was able to help me get that cleared out. Was assigned first load this afternoon but first I had to make a trek over to TK in Tulsa to pick up a trailer that was supposedly fixed and ready to go. Well trailer was fixed but not ready to go had a coolant alarm and had to wait for a guy to come out and fill up the tank. Then check inside and last driver left it dirty as heck and on a 1/4 tank so got that taken care of (Thanks Sharpp). I started my trip over to Noel, MO for my pick up and guess what it is not ready and no available eta for loading either. Though this day could've gone a lot better it is nice finally being out on the road and let's see how this trip will turn out.

I ended up getting a 2014 Evo with 53,4xx miles with a Tri pack and a bambi pusher already on it. So far it seems to be pretty good. And it's not one of the automatics. LoL since I know that would probably be asked.

    khans Thanks this.

Be interested in hearing how the fuel mileage is on it after you run it for a bit
