Are you getting paid for this? If so then I would say that you are loving it.

There is an over abundance of parking in that area, brother.

158 has a Walmart with a ton of other stores there. 155 has a fireworks store and some other stuff. 152 has Loves, a BP mart, and several other things down the street. I may have some of the numbers mixed up, but I live over there, and make my wife do all her fueling up at lives for to get me points. :)

Thanks. I would have liked to go to the Loves, but I had to find a hideout within elog striking distance. Mind you, I'm not admitting that I would EVER take advantage of the electronic logbook to drive a mile or two on line 2. But another 90 minutes on, "Sleeper Berth" will gain me enough hours to go to down the road to some more appropriate parking.

158 is loves and fireworks and surplus store. 155 is BP mart and hospital and restaurants. 152 is Walmart. Easy to cheat from one safe haven to the next around here. If you take 155 and follow the road away from BP, you can take the Jasper exit and scoot at about 25 mph following the signs to I 24, that'll take you through Jasper and Kimball, where the Walmart is. Keep going, or take 152 B towards south Pittsburgh, and go through. About 5 miles south is big daddy's, some parking and a decent gun shop to boot.

Yes Sir! I've been to Santa Fe Springs Ca more times then I want to count! Drive safe! Then grabbing a run from there up the Coast then back down to Florida? I'm only guessing, Most of you guys go up rather then straight back out of Ca. Good Luck. Be Safe!

If he is it's because they have more loads coming out of that area then going into that area and the loads pay enough to cover the deadhead. Can you say $4/mi freight because that's what it sounds like.

Loaded or empty makes no difference as the pay is exactly the same here at JCT (does that stand for Just Chicken Trucks?). Don't know about you but if I were driving 1600 miles for free I would be mighty pissed off. Actually, I wouldn't do it.

Yup Mr traffic has the dedicated jct trailer that's silver instead of the other road trailers. Therefore he won't have the liberty of drop and hook say like over here at fw and have us locals deliver it. But sounds like he has a dm that takes care of him and pays him the detention. :)
