Feb 21st is a Friday. Didn't know the did orientation on weekends. I fly out the 23rd for orientation the 24th. Good luck to all.

I have been to every state except Alaska, Hawaii and California. Two may never happen but I can pretty much plan on the other. Is California as bad and as strict as everyone claims? I have heard horror stories but understand that some people embellish time to time. Just wondering. Thx for any info. I know it will be straight advice from this thread.

 

California is slow (55 mph), expensive (fuel $4.19 at T/A today) and crowded. But all in all
it is like everywhere else - it is what you make it. Like driving there more than thru Atlanta though.

 

Thx Runnin, what about the idling policy. I can sleep cold but not hot.
