Pick up and deliver copy machines. You have to load/unload trailers. Somedays it is a rough job. Not for the lazy. I had to pick up a 500 lb machine on the 3ed floor, no elevator. Tough, by myself. Lol

I live in California and can tell you most of the state is actually a joy to drive through. Wide open roads and long miles with plenty of parking and amenities. Keep the speedo around 60 and you'll have no problem with the CHP. Now Southern Cal and the Bay Area different story. Traffic can suck but really it's no worst then any other big city with traffic problems(Chicago comes to mind). Docks can be really tight in those two area's as well.

THX for the info. Heard they go through truckstops and rest areas and ticket trucks that are idling. Didn't know if it was true. Stay safe everyone

They do but if your running for JCT you will have a truck new enough to have a Clean air sticker and if you have an apu an apu sticker as well. With those stickers you can idle all you want except for in residential areas.

Was it still all together when it got to the truck? I am not sure I would not have found a balcony to help me get it to the bottom floor! :)

    OK I have a question.

What is the best Fuel strategy? Im pretty sure myself and co-driver are doing it wrong. Our settlements are well way low, and looking at it I think is is fuel related. The Junkcadia is averaging 6.3-8.1mpg depending on load.

For some reason I can't PM anyone...except myself...
