Running with JCT

Great visiting with you over a beverage this morning Runnin... I am now down in Yuma, az to load later this evening then deliver on Tuesday in Moberly Mo. Then I'm headed to the house until the following Monday!

 

Here is what is gonna suck:

Gotta run a total of 529 miles tomorrow to pickup a load in Cleveland TN, deliver in NC, get to the charlotte yard, pull my crap out of this big orange turd, go pickup my rental car, move my crap into it, then start the first 8 hour leg of my 16 hour joirney to Supulpa, to get there by Sunday ay 18:00. I will be LOOKING like coffee by the time I get there, and will probaly crash hard before Mon morning ornamentation.

 

They dressing you up as a Valentines Day mascot?

Just being silly. Been calling it "ornamentation" for years. Im a goof like that.

 

Hope you have had or will have time to get a jump start on the modules before orientation.

 

Going to try when I stop for a 6 hr rest break in tbe rental, as well as a few hours Sunday night in the hotel. Gonna be spent, but I gotta push through.

Apparently I knocked on the wrong wood...lol. Got down to Waldron, AR safe enough, despite a few inches of snow/ice on the road. After hooking to my trailer full of chicken parts, headed back north on 71...more snow/ice, not a sign of a snowplow (does Arkansas have snowplows? lol), half dozen four wheelers in the ditch, and that was my queue to park it. Spending the night at a thankfully well placed rest area on US-71, hoping Bubba finds the key the plow and gets the road clear in the AM.
