    Just log into your Facebook account and type "JCT Drivers United" in the search bar at the very top of your Facebook page. I like it that some, maybe even most, of the drivers on that page end their conversation with their truck number.

    Because the mods here are extremely overzealous about enforcing the no recruiting rule. To my knowledge Sharpp never said anywhere, "If you come to JCT be sure to put me down so I get the bonus." Which to me is recruiting. He and Terry have made tried to make themselves available to potential and current JCT drivers for advice and I don't see anything wrong with that. I'm sure he's gotten a few referral bonuses from the drivers that have used this thread to help them decide to go to JCT and I'm glad he did because he deserved it.

    If his ban is permanent or they lock this thread I'm considering taking my internet ball elsewhere.

    Other than drive-by spammers, it is very rare for a member to solicit referrals and use the community for their own financial benefit. When it happens, we let the member know that the behavior needs to stop and explain why:
    It's a simple message, people see the bigger picture and agree to knock off the recruiting. Most members are involved in this community because they feel that helping each other is its own reward, so leaving the recruiting behind is pretty easy for them.

    It's very rare, but some guys don't feel that way. They're asked to stop recruiting and they don't. Maybe they feel that if they can't make a buck (or 2500 bucks) then it's not worth helping people.

    Sharpp was temporarily banned because he ignored the warnings he was given about recruiting. I'd prefer that we didn't have to ban him, but whether he chooses to follow the rules or not is entirely his decision.

    Well since Sharpp hasn't posted it on the actual thread.... That means what he got banned for was in a supposedly private message. So obviously those ain't really all that private.
