Well Sharpp I completed that fuel run you and I discussed on the phone today. 1196 miles from the Loves in Wamsutter Wy to the Loves in Gary Indianna. 140 gallons used from one fuel stop to the next. 8.5 dang I can't help but wonder what the heck my mileage would have been if I could have had a tail wind during this run. 75400 was the weight.
Running with JCT

Sharpp,
I have a question, what is your weekly truck payment based on mileage wise? For example do they think you will have the truck paid off by the witchful mileage of 500K or 600K? or what do they base that on? See my example below.
Also you said that when you get your truck you can bring it back and exchange it towards something else in 90 days, How does this work? Do you get the payments made in this period of time get put towards the new truck? Or was it like a rental of said truck till you found what you wanted, I have been in here eye balling the Cascadia Evs. Those look like they get the fuel mileage! Thanks.
for Example:
Track total to JCT $140,000.00
Estimated miles driven to pay off 500000
Equals total payment % miles! 0.28 per mile?

On a 2,800 mile week, your payment would be $120 (fixed portion of lease) plus 2,800 X $.21 (variable portion). This totals $708/week. Right in the ballpark. Multiplying 2,800 X 260 weeks
comes up with 728k miles. So 700k miles is my best guess to pay off the truck.
If you get a truck that you don't like in orientation, you can turn it back in after 90 days (or sometimes less). Any payments made during that time won't be refundable unless there's some extraordinary circumstances. Keep in mind, I'm no authority in this situation. If they get my Evo with the DT12 transmission, I will happily hand them back this truck and consider all of the payments as "rent". With no money down, you won't have any equity in any truck for quite a while!
Soule_Man is in Tulsa waiting on orientation. He met a driver with a new Evolution who was staying at the motel. This driver said that he got a ProStar at orientation, and didn't like it. He talked to the company and got the Evo. Maybe we can get the story directly from SM on here later.vikingswen Thanks this. -
I have met a bunch of great people here so far. Everyone always tells me the same thing. Make sure to run the miles and that most of them love it here at JCT.
I met one guy that has been with the company 3 months and his freightliner has been in the shop a lot because the check engine light has come on 17 times in less than a month. He talked to the shop and his upline and they gave him that brand new evolution. His payments did not transfer over to it from the old truck but he was pretty darn happy.
Met another guy last night that has a prostar. His tractor was a real piece as he was telling me that he was in the shop because he was only getting 5.8 mpg ouch. The shop said they were either gonna do all this work to it on their dime or give him a different tractor.
But overall they all seem pretty happy and that evolution looked freaking awesome. I must get one Lolvikingswen Thanks this. -
Got in there and made my delivery at 4 am. By 6 I was back on the street, settling in for a full day off. Two hours later I got a pre-plan: two picks in the Salinas Valley, and roll on to Austell, GA (Atlanta). That's 76 miles empty and 2,366 loaded, for a monster 2,442 paid miles! That'll bring the average up.
