This is good information, If I was you I would stay clear of those Pro Stars! I'm going to wait till they filter through and get rid of those completely! That is is nice run you got! I wish you Safe Travels Sharpp, I hope you hit your goal this month for the mega miles, I am interested in seeing what happens as freight slows for the holidays or right after. Be Safe, Thanks again for the info.

Actually me and my wife have our own truck so not looking to drive as company drivers. Would just like to know what the main running lanes are for JCT.

JCT runs mostly East-West I-70 and south. We do quite a few long runs out of California, Washington, and Arizona. There's another JCT driver at this shipper in Gonzales and he's going to Orlando. As a solo driver I'm averaging close to 1,500 miles per trip. I see a lot of I-40 and I-70, with occasional trips up to WA-OR and up I-80 to NY-PA. I'm sorry but I don't have much experience with JCT teams.LOKO Thanks this.

Thank you Sharpp. Much appreciated. We are looking at joining the JCT team and your info helps.

Luv, you're the original fence-sitter
!
I know not what you speak of this "freight slowing". Last year I picked up at Tyson in Sherman, TX on Thanksgiving day going to Mira Loma, and on Christmas I was in the middle of Stockton to Wellston, OH. I even got through the house on Christmas Day, lol, a real miracle! New Years wasn't very good; a relay from Hutchins, TX to Aurora, CO. The previous New Year's was a nice Oakland -Lemoore-Dover, FL run that got me into Vegas on New Year's Day. Woo hoo! -
View attachment 53915 Thus ends another profitable week at JCT with a reset at home Friday night thru Sunday morning to spend my birthday with my wife. The miles are split between 2 loads, the first was 76500 from Olathe Ks to Idaho where I swapped into a 75k load. Zero dead head and only 75 plus miles do a tail wind.from Idaho I drove to Carlisle Pa where I just parked. Drive your truck and control your profits. Cruise control is seldom your friend.

I would love to say those numbers were in my large nose Coronado, however it was hit in a parking lot and is being given a makeover gr lol. That is in my "loaner" a 2014 evolution cascadia with the ideal company trailer.( skirts and super singles.

The main freight lanes for our teams tend to be Cali to Florida both directions and Washington state to Florida both directions. The most successful teams are the ones that are open to relays to make sure that loads get caught up and delivered on time as those same teams are the same go to people planners and dispatch look at to drop their loads and keep them rolling when they get near the end of their loads.
