    Got a look at my preplan after surviving a cluster arrival at the receiver. Ennis, TX to Porterville, CA. Total of 1,541 paid miles picking up tonight and delivering sometime on Monday. Unfortunately that means no Phoenix for me. I'm going to have to take the high route and bang out some miles. Phoenix is a good domicile for us, luvtotruck. It's a lot better than Henderson, NV! I'll give you a shout next time I'm in the area.

    I'm curious to see the mileage for those Evos with a gross of 75K. By the way I figure if its a few 10ths/gl that will more than pay for the extra couple cent/mi in payment.

    Exactly. Plus that extra 3 cents per mile includes the APU.

    I had the opportunity to personally talk to a JCT driver about six weeks ago, after hearing JCT advertise on SatRadio.

    Sounds really interesting, and reading this forum makes it all the more interesting.

    Am going to continue to think and ponder about it and might even wait until Spring of 2014 tto make my move - if it is what I plan to do.

    Good luck with your next adventure. My monthly goal of 13,500 miles is going to require some luck to achieve. I had a slow start on a short month. Right now I'm about 500 miles behind.

    Today has been filled with waiting at shippers. This load is a nice one though. 1,500+ miles and under 13k lbs. I should manage around 8 mpg on this one! I don't have a delivery appt on Monday yet. Right now I can run this in a few different ways, but my preferred way would be to run 175 miles or so tonight, then pound out a couple of 675 mile days to be in Porterville or nearby Sunday night. This load is so nice that I want to make it happen no matter what the appt time is. I'm facing a swap otherwise.

    Well run it the way you need to, I wish you luck, I'm sure you can get it done, I'm going to be making several decisions in this next little while, I am wondering if JCT would get me a Auto Transmission, I know real men drive with a stick! I know I know, I just had a good experience with an Automatic. Thanks, Keep the info coming!.

    They put 5 Evolutions with the new DT12 autos on the road on a trial basis. I really want to try one myself.
