I can see I'm missing out on some fantastic information. I'll be back in a couple more weeks and have to play catch up.

After a day of horrid 30 mph sustained head winds I managed to finish the day at 6.5 though I managed to hold onto a 7.1 week. Definitely a day not designed for my hood.

Anybody pass thru the yard today and notice what trucks are in the pen?

39 hours on a bus? I salute you! Now go get a psychological evaluation. I suspect you may be crazy.
If this doesn't prove you wanna work, I don't know what would.
And people say Americans don't wanna work.
Good luck! Hope it works out great for you.

    DADof3 and Sharpp Thank this.

Voluntarily putting yourself through a long bus trip IS the first psychological test given by every trucking company. If you're crazy enough to put yourself thought that, you're crazy enough to work for us!

.....or desperate enough. There would be no way in he!! that I would ride a bus that long or even half the amount to go to any orientation. I would gladly buy a plane ticket and rent a car to get to where I needed to be. I know somebody will probably chime in and say they did not have the money for that. That I think would be a big red flag for starting a new business.

With the company we went with, they paid for the bus, but if we wanted to fly (which we did) they gave reimbursed us the amount of the bus ticket. So the flight was only about $50.. WELL worth it! Not sure if JCT does that though...
