Running with JCT

Dang...I got a preplan this morning that picked up tomorrow morning in Prosser, WA. (10 miles from my current location) and delivers in Robert, LA. on Wednesday, 10/16.....then it was cancelled within the following minute, as I was getting ready to send my preplan commitment. Oh well, I'm sure I'll get a goodload. It's just that the 2200+ miles on that load would have closed out my week well. It is what it is!

Thanks luvtotruck...as it turned out, they sent me the same preplan again. So I sent my preplan commitment and got the load assignment. I'll be picking up in the morning, then heading southeast!

Delivered in Ochelata on time and got a preplan a few minutes later. Picking up today in Noel, MO going to Riverside: 109 empty 1,499 loaded for a nice 1,608 mile load. Only problem is that unless they get me in a door soon, I'll have to swap it somewhere. Delivers at 03:30 Sunday.

 

Well I had the load going from Wallula , Wa to Kentucky but I repowered another driver that needed to get home for his daughter's 3rd b-day party. So I swapped with him in Council Bluff, IA. And took his load back to Corinne , Ut. I deliver tonight and already have a preplan to pick up in Hyrum, UT tomorrow morning. That one will deliver in Lenoir, NC on the 16th with a drop in Georgia on the 15th for a total of 2156 miles. Then I will swing by the house to surprise the wifey and take a 34 hr reset. My last settlement was really nice, I carried over some extra fuel from the week before and ran 4080 miles.. I banked $2250.00 for the week. I averaged 8.32mpg for the week as I carried the extra over with me. That was nice to see. So far so good with JCT. I have no complaints so far.

Im new on the truckers report but not to the business. Im a O/O (free and clear) and might be looking to make a move to a different company. What's the skinny on JCT? I saw your location as Fayetteville, NC...small world, Im from Spring Lake. Thanks in advance for any info you can lend.
