The weather was so agreeable today that I made it 685 miles to Lake Havasu. First day in a while without some nasty winds. For tomorrow, I'll have less than 500 miles to Santa Nella. I think that I'll get there early and trace my w/s washer fluid hoses to find out where they're leaking.

This trip will put me at 3,000 miles for the week on Monday morning. The Qualcomm resets Tuesday, so a 3,700 mile week isn't out of the question, although it would leave my logbook in shambles. I'm getting tired of these out-and-back trips to OK. It's time for something different. I haven't been east of the Mississippi since July. I'm not a big fan of the east, but it would be nice to hit Tennessee or Virginia in time to see some fall colors.

Beautiful drive across the desert today! The wind was mostly absent and I arrived at Santa Nella showing 7.1 mpg on the Scangauge. Tomorrow I have a quick shot up I-5 for my delivery then off to parts unknown.

Spending the night at a rest area in Russell, KS. tonight. I'll stay in Terrell, TX. tomorrow night, then arrive a day early in Robert, LA.
The wind has been brutal across I-80 and I-70, while I-25 was relatively uneventful. It doesn't help having 45,000 lbs in the box. Thank God it's an nice aero trailer, or it would be even worse!

Made my delivery in Tracy after getting a pre-plan. It's a nice, long trip; 1,835 miles, but it's right back out on I-40 to Russellville, AR. I've been on this slab a lot lately! I guess it could be worse. But this shipper is a drop and hook for us pretty often and I drew a live load on this same non-aerodynamic trailer. If they will get me done soon I'll head over to Tehachapi for the night and stop by my house tomorrow morning for a short day off. Coming back out Wednesday will leave me 1,360 miles to go for an open-ended Friday appointment.

This will be the third trip through the house this month! I think that I'll scrap my plans to request home time until November now. As long as they're running me like a dedicated driver I'm going to take advantage of it.

Well, I got as far as Wichita, KS. and was asked to do a repower. So now I'm sitting in Moberly, MO., waiting to deliver tomorrow morning at Walmart. My dm already told me he was working on my next load, which will bring me by the terminal. Then I'll be back out again, but where to, I can't say? LOL. Ya'll stay safe out there.
