I might have time to get to Orientation by the 15th. I'm stuck here at the TA Troutdale, OR, trying to not get bored.

I don't have any experience with the Kenworths, but I do with Cascadias, and they are fun to drive. And very reliable.

Not to mention that the Cascadias are roomy, I'm 6'4 220lbs, and I got plenty of space in here.

I wonder if they will do a 5 year lease .....that would keep you in the same truck at a much lower payment...

I'm a newbie to this forum and actually have a question..not a post. Does SNI let you go home on weekends during orientation 3 weeks? Thanks

I don't know, I just don't want to get stuck with a truck for 5 years. I like to upgrade every year. But with trucks looks like they don't change drastically every year. So going for a 2 year lease.

I think the 3 week orientation is for tanker only....otherwise I believe it is 2 1/2 days....

My bad there, I haven't been otr since 2007 and was told I would need to do a 3 week refresher. I will be part time, 1 week on 1 week off...if it was explained correctly to me by my recruiter. I live 90 miles from the charlotte OC and was wondering if they allowed weekends between weeks to be spent at home. Sorry for the confusion and thanks for the response.
