I was told in orientation fuel cut off is 2300 on Mondays and pay is 2400? I never checked because I fuel when I need it.

Based on my experience fuel cut off is around 0300 to 0400 Tuesdays and pay is 1500 to 1900 on Mondays central time. It was told to me in orientation this way as well. Unless they changed it which could be possible and just haven't noticed.

    OMG!

All I can say is each to his own. I see your point but for those of us who don't have the money to buy a truck leasing with a good company is a good way to start. Heck I met a former England driver the other day that went through their lease purchased program had his truck paid for and now was using it with a local company and doing fine. But he started just like I am doing leasing to buy as a "company lease driver".

After sitting most of the day getting some r&r, caught up on paper work, shower, a few truck cleaning chores and letting my hours catch up! Grabbed a load out of Laredo headed to Cali!

    Truck on!

I have read this thread from start to finish, and I must say thanks so much! Im about to finish trucking school and I am very stressed out over choosing the right company to go with. It seems like everyone has something negative to say about every major carrier, and they all say "Go with a small company, DUH!" but thats just not an option for recent truck school grads with no experience! I have to say I would take your word on this thread over all of the negative ones for one simple reason, you have some intelligence and you're honest! Thats something you dont find in many of theses threads! Your time and energy spent on this thread may have helped me make my choice to go with SNI! I am a little bummed that they do not have a pet policy but i can not let that be a deciding factor. It seems like all of the major companies who allow pets only do that to try to loop some people in because theyre using it to cover up poor pay or something else that would change someones mind about driving for them. Thanks again for the informative thread, I may be in contact in the near future!

    Hi tmowry1,

I really can relate to the position your in. There is a lot of bs in this industry but I found out that most of the bad news is not true if you just put 100% of your best foot forward and when you choose the company you want to work for don't jump on the negative band wagon with all the other drivers. Stay true. There is sometimes things that happen where customers screw up or dispatchers screw up and it will cost you time/money but it just nature of the business. I found best form of action is don't complain and don't explain! just get your job done and eventually you get noticed and they will take care of ya and you will find things just go better in the long run. That has been my experience.

My load to Cali got switched and now I'm headed to South Carolina! :biggrin_2551: Dammm it man! No worries tho, still pays the same:biggrin_25525:. I will come back and explain more later on. For now, there seems to have been several load issues lately with other drivers I talk to so might be something glitching in the system. It sucks, but I am sure SNI will figure it out and hopefully get it fixed. I know recently they opened the relay loads for us IC drivers to take, which in my opinion is AWESOME. Before we couldn't pu/del relays because the system couldn't pay it out properly. That might have something to do with the problem. Will see..

    Truck on!

Hows it going for every body ? Atruckr when i did this before zero paychecks came on occasions but have been fortunate so far averaging like you said round 1700.. did have a hell of a week had a load cancel and lost the two behind it because couldnt get anything to replace it as it was then rebooked three more for the first one in its set to cancel all of this happened within three hours was very very pissed but did pull off book three more that ended up paying better. Have to stay planning and working at it for sure !
