Oh what the he** Going update this thread!
Been doing pretty good here at SNIY! Not all a rose garden but can't complain. Grateful to be working and developing my skills in this new carrier.
Just for those wondering .. here is a breakdown of miles and pay for last month.. Been here now 9 months equipped with a new truck now (almost new had 39000 on it) and one pay raise and hopefully another coming in Oct.
Following is gross pay, I pay about $50 week for health, dental and vision and doesn't include taxes. You will notice weeks with less miles but with more pay than others. That is because I received lay over and/or detention pay that week.
week 6/29/12- 2198 miles earned $629 (2 days off)
week 7/6/12 - 1978 miles earned $758
week 713/12 - 3112 miles earned $902
week 7/20/12 - 2386 miles earned $727
week 7/27/12 - 2847 miles earned $872 + quarterly bonus $617 and training pay = total $1504
Not as much as I use to make in last career but getting there!
Maybe down road try a dedicated account or O/O on choice will let ya know
Presently in Salt lake waiting unload then picking up here and headed to Vagas! Stuck with one of these tight time to deliver and pick up is at 2:30 am.. have to be there by 10am same day..
