    No but I believe they will if you ask. Would probably be beneficial to me since I have very little and could show that I'm paying off my truck.

    Basically your credit is your job/experience and work ethic. If you have dings on your "credit report" they don't seem to be worried about that..

    I agree! If I was to apply to buy a house or something I'm sure we could one way or another use our truck payment history as additional credit.. I know my rep Mary would confirm my status.

    I know there was some discussion about starting wages for new inexperienced SNI drivers. My recruiter told me that I'd be starting out at 32 cents per mile for regional OTR based out of the Indianapolis OC. I finished week 1 of training today and will be meeting up with my TE on Monday morning!

    Congrats! Let us know how it goes. The .32cpm for new drivers is good... makes it a little more competitive. I think I started at $0.28/mi.

    The upside to Schneiders lower pay compared to some other carriers is that (as long as you don't have the DBLs I had out of the Charlotte OC) they keep you moving really good. Same for ICs... may not pay big bucks per mile but tons of freight to get you wherever you want to go, lots of drop and hook and decent equipment for the most part.

    The one thing they really need to work on is staffing for phones and empty trailers. Like I said in my thread, last night after I dropped at Home Depot, there were no empty trailers. I went back this morning to see if there were any more. I waited 2 minutes too long and let another Schneider driver leave the truckstop before me, and they got to the HD before me and got the last empty, lol.

    I sat for 27 minutes before getting through to someone, explained no empties, and sat for another 10 minutes on hold. She got back to me saying that she was sitting on hold herself with customer service trying to see if I could bobtail. She went ahead and got with the box planners in the meantime to see if they could find any empties. They wanted to send me down into FL to get an empty, yeah on paper an extra 40 miles OOR, _JUST_ not enough to pay me the $50 for IC trailer search, not to mention it wasn't a simple 40 miles down the interstate, it was 40 goatpath miles through tiny FL/GA towns.

    I told her I wasn't happy with that and simply asked if I could bobtail to the customer since the load was a preload, and if I got there and had to have an empty I would go down to FL and THEN get one. She kinda hesitated for a second and then told me OK. So that's what I did. Ended up being a preload, so no problem. Just don't think this kind of thing necessitates 40-50 minutes of time wasted on the phone. CS can kiss my ***.

    And now the next driver is screwed because they are short a trailer. So a either a driver will have to live load and or go there drop empty and bt to next destination. You had a dbl that handles rookie. There job is supposed to give you all the craapp loads to see if u can handle it. The past few months hold times have decreased and weekend Charlotte dbls have a goal of no longer then 10 mins. Heck I had to call in first time since early Jan I had to call. I get constant runs and keep me rolling. Don't do resets unless I opt to go. Granted it sucks I have never gotten raise in 3 years and only one bonus.

    Place does both live loads and preloads, preloads on weekends. I've done live loads there before during the week. Not screwing anyone over.

    Also, didn't just have a rookie DBL, lead DBL in Charlotte assigned me to this one after rookie DBL, specifically because he thought she would do me good, and had been a driver before.

    You must have a special batphone number to Charlotte I can never get through in <10 mins.
